I have been an educator for nearly 30 years. I have degrees in early childhood education and sociology. However, I have experience with students of all age groups and ability levels. I taught in public and private school classrooms for 18 years. I currently work one on one with students locally teaching language and reading classes, as well as basic math skills, and homeschool classes. I have also worked with students on summer break at a speech and language therapy practice. As a former elementary school teacher and current Orton-Gillingham instructor, I have several years experience working with students utilizing various methods and curricula to develop students’ foundational literacy skills. Contact me for further information to schedule classes.
