As a former elementary school teacher and current Orton-Gillingham instructor, I have several years experience working with students utilizing various methods and curricula to develop students’ foundational literacy skills.

Dyslexia, Language disorders, English Learners
Letter identification, Letter sounds. Learners should be able to decode and encode CVC, CCVC, CVCC words.
Handouts (Student Recording Sheets) will be provided before each class. A printer for weekly printouts for each lesson. A 3-ring binder or folder for each lesson for future reference. (A notebook to write lessons in if choosing not to print handouts.) Pencil. Tactile surface: sandpaper, sponge, any textured surface.
