I encourage the parents to play the song we are learning in class each day via Youtube. This helps the learner to assimilate the class material, and better memorize the song they are learning.Class Experience
In this ongoing private voice lessons course, your learner will be guided through a series of vocal warm ups that increase clarity, range, pitch, and tonal quality. These warm ups will help the learner understand how to make different sounds with their voices while helping them hear and repeat the notes with accuracy. We will then turn our focus to learning a song they choose, or a song that can be assigned to them based on skill level and ability. This portion of class includes lyric memorization and mastery of the melody. Once the song is learned, we can begin mastering stage presence for those interested in using their skills to audition, or we can take the last five minutes of class to perform their song for their parents. The purpose of this class is to assist each learner in accomplishing their own unique goals for singing. All portions of this class utilize the assistance of videos from YouTube with an ad-free experience.
Learning Goals
The goal of this course is to improve vocal clarity, tone, range, pitch and rhythm while learning and perfecting songs to build a personal musical repertoire.

Hello! My name is Ms. Autumn. Thank you for stopping by my profile! I am looking forward to meeting your little learner soon. I teach preschool and kindergarten aged courses. I have been teaching this age group in online and in-person settings for 6 years. I love to help my students learn proper vocal technique and conditioning using warm-ups that broaden the range and tonal quality. During private voice lessons, we will also practice pitch matching and lyric guessing games while having fun! I have a Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University with a major in Developmental Psychology.
I believe my teaching style to be very engaging, encouraging, and enthusiastic. I love bringing smiles to my students' faces during class and helping them to feel pride in their accomplishments. This is why I regularly throw out Hatchimals toys as rewards for doing a great job singing!
In my experience teaching, I have seen how music and singing helps children retain information, as well as create a positive and joyful experience. As a professional singer in Las Vegas and Macau, China for six years, I would describe my style of teaching as “edu-taining”. A fun fact about me is that sometimes I like to teach classes from my class A motor home while my family and I travel all over the country! I hope to see your little ones in my classroom soon!
