In this class, we will work on skills that the students needs more practice with. I can also help with homework or do test prep. The first class will be used as an assessment unless the teacher has received a message before class stating what skills need to be worked on. During each class, I will show the students the steps to solve the problem, I will have the student help solve a problem, and then solve problems on their own while telling me each step as they solve it. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and explain their thinking. As a student reaches mastery or just needs a change of pace we will switch skills. If a student needs help on homework or test prep. I would like to receive a picture of the study guide or homework page before hand so I can prepare for the lesson. It also makes it easier to see the questions that we are solving.
