Ongoing Guitar Lessons: One-On-One Beginner to Advanced

My lessons are generally crafted for each student and is based on skill level and interest. Beginner students will start on fundamentals then will start having a more customized lesson.

US Grade 7 - 12

In my private guitar lessons, students will have lessons crafted for their interests with the exception of brand new beginners. New beginners with start on the fundamentals before having more customizable lessons such as:

-Parts of the guitar
-General music terms (rhythm, dynamics, note names, etc.)
-How to hold the guitar (for acoustic, classical, and electric)
-How to tune
-Learning string names and basic note reading
-And way more!

More advanced students will explore more advanced techniques such as:

-Harmonics
-Tapping
-Fretboard Memorization
-Slides
-Hammer-ons/pull-offs
-And way more!

I like to engage with my students and get them thinking about how to analyze music and maintain good, consistent practice habits.

Hello! I'm Christian and I teach group/individual acoustic and electric guitar lessons to 12-18 year olds at all levels. I also offer classical guitar instruction as well. I have been teaching for a couple years and have a degree in Music Business and Music Tech from the University of Northern Colorado. 

My personal belief is every lesson should be crafted for each students interests, but it has to develop from the fundamentals. In my lessons I'll be teaching the fundamentals while crafting to students interests.

I like to travel when I can! One of my peresonal favorite experiences was traveling to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall!
