In this ongoing class, we will to have Spanish conversations about any topic: days of the week, months of the year, food, weather, colors, shapes, letters, numbers and more. It can be based on parent interest. I will use superhero and princesses. The topics we can use are endless. We can learn about land animals, sea animals, birds, and reptiles. The class will start with a greeting, a song, students will listen and repeat and we will review. I will use slides with lots of visuals to engage the students. The students will practice speaking Spanish the whole time. I love using a lot of hands movements, puppets if necessary. No experience is required. Students can join any time. The topics are independent of each other. Learning Goals
Students will learn to carry out a Spanish conversation about many different topics by repeating with silly voices and their favorite characters. I will teach the lesson with Google Slides and many visuals so they can make the connections. They will repeat the phrases continually until mastery.

Bienvenidos! Welcome, my name is Karina. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL endorsement from Georgia State University. I am also gifted endorsed. I have almost 8 years of experience teaching. I currently teach Spanish in a Dual Language Immersion program class to first graders. I've always loved learning Spanish growing up. I am very patient at teaching young learners. I have taught first graders, second graders, fourth and fifth graders. I have 12 years of experience teaching Sunday School classes. I also have one year of experience teaching English to Chinese students online.
Here at Outschool, I will be teaching Spanish conversational phrases. My goal is to engage students in learning by having fun songs, having engaging activities and encouraging them to have the desire to love and learn a new language. I will make our class very fun for our students and will include any fun characters that they like into my classroom.
