Class experience
Please make appointments on the top of the hour. I've asked Outschool to make this part of my schedule but they have not. This is a private course designed to prepare students for all sections of the SAT, PSAT or ACT test. We will cover strategies and key information for each section of the test. I will teach by demonstrating strategies and through live student teacher interaction. I only use real SAT tests. It is best if the students have the College Board SAT prep book or the Official ACT...
I have been tutoring college prep tests for over 20 years. I am certified in both math and English so I'm able to tutor all sections.
Homework Offered
Students will be expected to complete real SAT or ACT tests in-between classes. I assign approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of homework a week. Please have the following book or be willing to print tests. Official SAT Study Guide 2020 edition, by the College Board for the paper test that ends in December of 2023. It is easy to find on amazon or your local book store. Or the Official ACT book or I can email tests to the student to print. If taking the Digital SAT / PSAT, the college board is putting out a book in August of 2023. If working with me before that time, I can send you tests to print or use on screen. You can also chose this option over the book even after the book is released. If taking the ACT, please get the Official ACT book, also available from amazon.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
