This 1:1 session will help students become confident and successful in their math classes. Students should bring all their questions. We can work on homework questions, prepare for upcoming tests (including ACT/SAT) or correct mistakes.

Sometimes a student just needs an explanation from a different teacher. I am passionate about providing instruction to help students master math topics. I would like students to bring to our session any question types that they are struggling to comprehend. Together, we will work through the problems. This class is taught in English.
- Students should be able apply practical stratagies to solve the math problems they bring to the session. This will sometimes include memorizing a few vocabulary terms or a shortcut list which helps them break down hard problems. They will learn to look at a new problem and apply what they know in order to solve it.
I am a certified math teacher with 30 years of teaching experience in public, private, and homeschool settings, as well as one-on-one tutoring. I have a BS in Mathematics Education and a MS in Educational Technology and Online Learning. I have four years experience teaching math online.
Bring your quesitons. It is wonderful if you can upload a picture of the student's math questions. If you are preparing for a test, bring a list of topics covered on the test. Have paper, a calculator, and pencil with you.
