Students will participate in a baking competition based on the popular Netflix show - Nailed It. The recipes are listed in the syllabus with the ingredients list. The instructions will be sent out when you sign up for the class. The final judging will be mainly based on the look and decorations. Since I won't be able to taste the recipe myself, I will have the students taste their own creation and tell me how it is. I want them to be honest to help them become a better baker. UPON COMPLETION: Once the student has baked all the recipes and shown picture proof, I will send a certificate of completion. If this is something you want, please send me a message letting me know! Students are encouraged, but not required, to post baking tips, recipes, or baking questions in the classroom throughout the week. All levels are welcome as long as the student is able to follow a recipe and use kitchen utensils (measuring spoons, cups, mixer, etc) and oven on their own or has assistance from a parent. If your child has allergies, diet, or food dislikes, please let me know and we can either switch out a recipe or the ingredients. I can't wait to see those baking masterpieces! Who will be the next Baker or Faker? See syllabus for fall section recipes. Along with providing feedback if the learner wants, I will be available to answer any questions. I usually respond within a few hours. This class can take anywhere from 8 days to 8 weeks. It includes 8 recipes so depending on if your learner wants to make one everyday or every week. If you prefer a live class please check out my Bake It or Fake It live class. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For class policies, please see About Me section in my profile!
Learning Goals

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from University of Central Florida
I love cooking and baking! I have been doing both for over 15 years. I started out helping my mom and dad make meals. My sister and I used to have cooking shows and pretended to have our own restaurant. Currently, I am a mom of 2 boys and am always making something in the kitchen. Like all kids, they go through picky stages and I have to get creative. I love experimenting with new recipes and baked goods. I have a lifestyle blog where I occasionally release recipes, as well.
