Learner covers an introduction to Spain's history and culture, then lesson plans that are student-centered and individualized, acquiring, practicing & enjoying beginner level conversation skills in a multitude of subjects of their interest.

Beginner Level
Important Notes: All of my classes are inclusive. Classes are suitable for the neurodiverse child. For learns ages 6 - 18. CEFR: B1-B2 and above. This class is not a full immersion class and there will be some English used as needed. No pre-requisites. Teacher will do her best to accommodate changing family schedules. Class may be structured in different formats to accommodate parent's requests, so the entire course can be completed in an intensive/academic mode, or at a nice & easy...
This class is taught in English.
- Introduction to Spain's history and influence, linguistics and basic Spanish as detailed above.
Teacher is a native Spanish speaker. Her formal education, high school, A.S., A.A., B.A. and M.A., unfolded across 3 continents and four languages. She has dedicated a significant part of her life to studying languages, especially Spanish & English, plus German, French, some Italian, Japanese and Sanskrit. She is a recognized editor, and loves to share her passion for linguistics with your Learners.

Homework
Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: Learner is encouraged to take notes, review, drill, and practice the learned vocabulary; this is expected to make meaningful progress in the course. For this purpose, learner may want to take screen shots of slides to use for future reference and homework.Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: Weekly informal review of past and current class. It will be up to the student to decide if they want to take the class as enrichment or to seriously learn a foreign language in which case additional homework time would be required.
Required: Child will need a notebook, pencil and color pencils to write down the words being learned and for the learning activities involving drawing/coloring. Recommended: Child may want to have flashcards, a flashcard file with ABC dividers, a notebook, pencil and color pencils to write down the new vocabulary, and for the learning activities which include drawing & coloring. At the end of this course, learner may have created their own Spanish book, drawings included - a fine creation to be proud of!
