In this fun, one-time class students will get to color and talk about the Octonauts with other Octonauts fans.

Students will color pictures of the Octonauts while talking about them with other students. If you do not have access to a printer students are welcome to draw their own pictures (no drawing instruction is provided). The discussion will be student lead but I will have questions ready to guide the conversation. Questions may include: Who is your favorite Octonaut and why? What is your favorite episode? What is your favorite underwater animal? What is your animal the Octonauts have saved? I look forward to having your child in class!

Students will need Octonauts themed coloring pages and coloring supplies.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Gabrielle, I started teaching sewing lessons when I was a homeschool senior. I taught classes at a local home school group and discovered I had a passion for teaching. When I was 19 I discovered I was most likely autistic and was able to get an official diagnosis at 21. For me, this was a revelation and explained so much. It meant I was able to seek out others like me and was a huge game-changer for me.
For over 10 years now I have been teaching in different capacities and working with children with different disabilities and differences. I have been an in-home caregiver for a physically disabled child, a preschool teacher, a teacher's aid, a tutor and have been teaching online since January 2020. I also have an Associates' degree in special education.
I am proud to be autistic. This doesn't mean I don't have struggles but I firmly believe that we all have strengths and weaknesses. I strive to give all of my students a safe and welcoming place. All of my classes are inclusive which means students of all abilities are welcome.
