Students will be given an oral quiz after reviewing different specimens. Plus, students may bring three of their own seashells for a show and tell at the end of our study to share with each other. This class will spark their interest to start their own seashell collection of their own!
There are optional printable sheets for taking notes, learning to label the five oceans, and coloring different shells. See attached.

I love teaching oceanography! I have a wide collection of specimens and shells. Having been a Biology teacher for thirty-five years has allowed me to teach students about ocean life. Every summer, I offer Oceanography summer camps for kids. I now want to offer this same experience on Outschool.
