Animal science helps students explore and learn about animals around the world and their unique qualities. In this course we will learn about different species of whales. The lesson will focus on different types of whale, their anatomy, diets, habitat, facts and much more! This class will consist of 4 tasks that can be done over 5 days or all in one day what ever works best for the student! There is also an optional hands on experiment for students to complete. The week will have a video along with worksheets, vocabulary words to learn and practice review games. Students will also need to complete independent whale study where they research 2 types of whales independently. The week will end with a Kahoot to quiz the students on what they have learned that week. While the class is self-paced I am available for feedback and answering questions. Please expect to have answered within 72 hours (typically much sooner on weekdays) of sending messages. Certificates of completion are available as well. This class is a self-paced course meaning we will not meet live together. Students will be encouraged to share completed worksheets, something new they learned, along with any questions.
