Class Experience

We will start the class by reading a story about numbers. After that we will practice writing and counting numbers 1-10 using a 10-frame and counting objects. I will using counting blocks or bears, but learners can use anything they have at home to count with me. Learners should have a dry erase board with marker or pencil and paper to practice writing the numbers. We will also use the provided, printable documents to learn to count using a 10-frame and also the basics of a number line to the number 10.

Learning Goals

Students will improve their understanding of the numbers 1-10 and what they represent. Learners will also be introduced to the concept of how to count objects using a 10-frame and also learn to write the numbers.Students will also be introduced to a number line and learn how to number a line to 10.

Supply List
2 one-page printable documents will be provided once a learner has been registered. The learners will use this document to practice addition using a number line.

I have a Master's degree in Family and Consumer Science and have been an FCS teacher since 2012. I also homeschool my four children. I have children who love robotics, Lego, animals and gardening.
