Number Fun and Rhyming Word Sounds With Dr. Seuss: Prek Learning With Ms. Liz
Class Experience
In this one times class we will read some favorite Dr. Seuss books, like "Green Eggs and Ham" and "Ten Apples Up on Top" engage in vocabulary and same sound word activities and work on creating and counting our own apple projects! Little learners can build great listening, observation and creative thinking skills during storytime, asking questions and using their imagination. - Students will strengthen literacy and listening skills, prediction, problem solving and observation skills and will practice fine motor work, creating and counting as we work together on our "Ten Apples Up on Top" project with the included printable for enrolled learners.
1 file available upon enrollmentWelcome! I'm excited for my class. Please print out the attached "Ten Apples Up On Top" pdf. There are 2 pages in total. In class, we will use the page where the numbers are out of order to work on number identification along with counting skills. The 1-10 sheet can be used for additional at home apple counting too! Your learner can use dot markers, crayons or other writing tools, or you can cut out circles before class to use as the apples when we work on our counting project (you'll need 55 circles total). If you are going to use paper circles, I'd recommend gluing them on as we count the apples.
Because of the age of the class I recommend a grown up be within "ear-shot" to help with any technical hiccups (mic and video) that might come up.
