In this 5 week course, students will read and analyze Mary Shelley's ππ³π’π―π¬π¦π―π΄π΅π¦πͺπ―. Each class will consist of student led but teacher directed discussions and an in-depth analysis of selected chapters. I always want my classes to be super interactive and thought provoking; therefore, students are encouraged to take the material and draw wider reaching connections rather than simple fact retention. Because this work is often considered to be the first in the genre of science fiction, it is a must read for upper middle and high school students.
