Beginner - Intermediate Level
Join this fun and engaging music class, where we introduce the exciting world of music theory! In this class, young musicians will explore the fundamentals of reading music, understanding rhythms, and recognizing notes. Through interactive activities, games, and hands-on exercises, students will develop their listening skills and creativity. Whether your child is a beginner or has some musical experience, this class will help them build a solid foundation for their musical journey while having a blast with their peers! This class is perfect for students looking to begin a new instrument or new to music. This is a great supplemental class for homeschool students. Topics include: October 14- Exploring sound and pitch October 21- Rhythm October 28- The treble clef November 4- the bass clef November 11-- Time signature November 18- dynamics November 25- quarter notes and rests

Ms. Emi is a trained musician. She studied at the Willoughby School of Fine Arts from 1995-2002 and Lake Erie College from 2008-2012 in piano and vocals, as well as music theory.
