US Grade Kindergarten - 2
This class will meet live one time for 30 minutes and is intended for young learners ages 5 to 8 years old. We will begin the class with talking about what a problem and a solution are in a story. We will create an anchor chart together. We will then read a fun story called "Not Quite Narwhal" by Jessie Sima. We will identify the problem and the solution in this story, have discussions with one another and complete a "Problems and Solutions" sheet together. We will then follow up with the discussion about what makes each of us special and unique.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of problems and solution in a story and discuss what makes each of us special and unique.
