Class Experience
Learners will learn acrylic painting skills & techniques each week while following along to step-by-step guided video lessons.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, as well as an Associates degree in Digital Photography & a Certificate in Digital Design. My professional career has been in the graphic design & photography fields. My personal life includes many creative hobbies & pursuits, including drawing, painting, jewelry making, cross stitch, crochet & book making.
Learners will finish a painting each week, as well as participate in classroom discussions with peers & the instructor.
* A canvas, canvas board, or multi-media paper (able to handle acrylic paint) to paint on each week * A black paint marker or Sharpie * Acrylic paints in a variety of colors * Several sizes of paint brushes * A cup of water for rinsing your brushes * A paint palette or paper plate * Rag or paper towels * Clothes that can get messy or an apron/large shirt to protect clothing from any art supplies used * A hair dryer is recommended to speed up paint drying time
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
A hair dryer is recommended for this class to speed up the drying time of paint for some projects. By signing their learners up for this class guardians are giving their approval for their learners to use a hair dryer for this class.
