Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
Intermediate - Advanced Level
Embark on an enchanting journey through the night sky in our Night Sky Photography course! This hands-on class will teach you how to capture stunning long-exposure images of stars and the Milky Way using a DSLR or mirrorless camera and a tripod.

Throughout the course, you'll master essential techniques, including how to focus your camera in low-light conditions and effectively use long-exposure settings. We encourage you to venture outside and practice your skills several evenings each week, particularly on clear nights, to build your portfolio of night sky photography.

In addition to your camera and tripod, you’ll need a light source (like a flashlight) for exciting light painting techniques, and having a friend assist can enhance your creative experience. The instructor provides feedback on all images, helping you refine your skills and artistic vision.
