Students will learn about tape resist, salted texture technique and wax resist in this educational and exciting watercolor painting art lesson! Materials: -Watercolor Paper -Painters tape (masking take is also ok) -Watercolors- blue and black -Watercolor brushes and water cup -Scissors -Table salt ready to use in a small dish -White or yellow crayon (for stars) -Hair dryer or small fan incase the painting needs help drying faster Please work somewhere that can get messy! I will encourage students to create a tape border by taping their paper to their work area with painters tape- please consider this when choosing your work area! This class is taught by a state certified K-12 art educator. Students can expect a calm and supportive learning environment.

Parental Guidance
Students will use scissors and a hair dryer. Please ensure students know how to safely use both of these items.
