Learners may be given small research assignments for the purpose of building discussions, inspiring them to safely explore blockchains on their own, as well as giving them opportunities to implement what was learned in meaningful ways.Class Experience
Hi, I'm Justin from Canada. Some say not investing in blockchain technology is a financial crime. This class is designed to ensure new learners can jump in at any point, but the content does build. Themes are introduced and reintroduced over time as we discover their connections to one another. Much of how we interact with our peers will be handled via blockchains, and engaging with web3 technologies is quickly becoming necessary as we move into digital IDs and digital currencies around the world. We'll move with the crypto markets during this ongoing class and uncover the root causes of price fluctuations and technological advancements of crypto tokens, coins and blockchain networks. NFTs and metaverses are hot topics and the leading trends of the future, so we'll have opportunities to share our personal creations as well as discover hidden gems in the market. Safety and security are at the root of each lesson. We'll cover minting items and creating non-fungible tokens. We'll navigate CEXs, DEXs, charts, coin wallets and more. I'll utilize slides and various tools in this conversational class, and there will be opportunities to participate in discussions with the aim of upping our collective knowledge of the present and future of decentralized personal finance. New learners are encouraged to join at anytime since many of the concepts discussed weekly will be reintroduced and further unpacked as we go along. No prior knowledge of crypto, NFTs or blockchains will be required. Experienced learners will find information and discussions each week to be valuable and critical to grasping the complete scope of blockchain technology. Weekly lessons sample (All concepts introduced will continue to be expanded upon each week going forward, allowing learners to confidently join this ongoing class at any point): Week 1: Blockchain Basics & Crypto Introduction Week 2: What are Non-Fungible Tokens?
