Each week we'll view a new pond sample from a different location! Week of 12/17 We'll look at pond water from Nashville, TN!! Upcoming weeks: Chicago and Detroit! Just some of the many live organisms we might see in their habitat: 👀 👉ostracods 👉tardigrade eggs 👉water bear molt with eggs 👉water bears 👉rotifers 👉nematodes 👉amoebas 👉stentors 👉various ciliates, such as paramecia and so much more! You’ll be able to see the organs of the water bear, rotifers and more! You’ll learn many fascinating facts surrounding these organsims! The microscopic world is like entering another world! It’s full of surprises and amazing things! We’ll save a few minutes at the end of class to do a fun multiple choice game! After this fascinating adventure, join me for more! I'm a lifelong learner and I have a passion for teaching. I've taught over 1,700 ESL (English as a Second Language) classes to students from around the world.
I've homeschooled my daughter for the last 5 years. Her curriculum consisted of college-prep classes.
I will be teaching a variety of classes on Outschool, such as book art, making homemade kefir from kefir grains, homemade yogurt and buttermilk, handwriting, biology, math, and history.
I graduated from WGU as a secondary biology teacher. I'm certified to teach biology to middle school and high school students. I've taught students from pre-k through 12th grade.
I think outside of the box and therefore when a student has a hard time grasping a concept, I can easily come up with another way to teach it to that student. I believe every child deserves a patient and understanding teacher because we don't all learn the same way or at the same pace.
Our family loves to travel and we especially love to go on cruises. We've been on a Disney cruise and swam with stingrays and dolphins!
