Get ready to dive deeper into learning simple tabs, expanding your chord vocabulary, and mastering more notes and strumming patterns, all so you can play more songs! t's the perfect next step for those who have been playing for a few months and are ready to expand their skills. ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ course, ๐๐'๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ธ Learning More Chords: Add A, E minor, A minor, and D minor chords to your growing library. ๐ธ Reading Simple Tabs: Practice reading simple tabs to play fun, easy riffs and melodies. ๐ธ Expanding Note Reading: Learn notes on the D and A strings and practice reading them in simple melodies. ๐ธ Developing New Strumming Patterns: Add new strumming patterns to your playing, improving your rhythm and timing. ๐ช๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: Each class session will build on the skills learned in Level 1 with a focus on playing simple songs and riffs using new chords and notes: ๐ถ Finger Exercises: Make your fingers stronger and quicker so playing notes and switching chords is easier. ๐ถ Note Reading Practice: Get better at reading and playing notes on the D and A strings. ๐ถ Tab and Chord Practice: Get comfortable playing tabs and switching between chords faster and more accurately. ๐ถ Strumming: Learn new strumming patterns to add more variety and rhythm to your playing. ๐ถ Perform for Each Other: Practice playing in front of others to build confidence and get feedback. ๐ถ Q&A: Ask questions, and get feedback: Clear up anything you're unsure about and get tips to help you improve. This course is designed to help you continue building confidence in your guitar playing while having fun with music!

Chord Review and New Chords
Review G and Em chords. Learn new chords (Am, C, and D.) Practice switching between these chords.

Strumming Patterns (New Rhythms)
Review basic strumming patterns.
Learn a new strumming pattern with a bit more rhythm.
Apply the strumming pattern to the chords you've learned.

Learn the notes on the D string.
Practice reading

Notes on the A String and Combining Strings

Pre-Requisites

Blake holds a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Studies from Western Connecticut State University. He's been producing, performing, and teaching music to people of all ages for over 10 years. In addition to teaching, he regularly performs, writes, records, produces, and mixes various music projects of my own and for other artists and clients. He's deeply passionate about music and creating and loves to share the joy and knowledge of how to express oneself musically with his students. His classroom is lively, lighthearted, and upbeat. You can expect lots of encouragement while he gives feedback and pointers to improve. He aims to cultivate your creativity, stretch your musicality, and hone in on what sparks your musical curiosity. He loves to laugh with his wife and to be with his family and the friends that may as well be family. He loves to create, whether in the form of music, or writing, or drawing, or painting.
