Children will learn essential social skills, including self-awareness, effective communication, empathy, conflict resolution, and friendship-building. The course is designed to help them navigate social situations confidently and develop strong, positive relationships with others.

What Topics Will You Cover?

The course covers six key topics, one per week:
Self-Awareness and Understanding Emotions
Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Skills
Empathy and Understanding Others
Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving

Applying Social Skills in Real-Life Situations

How Is Your Class Structured?

Each week focuses on a specific topic with structured activities that include interactive discussions, role-playing, and group exercises. The course builds progressively, starting with basic skills and moving towards more complex social interactions. The final week includes a project where children apply what they've learned.

Lessons are designed to be engaging and practical, allowing children to actively participate and practice their social skills in real-time. 6 Lessons
over 6 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Week 1: Introduction to Social Skills & Self-Awareness
 Objective: Understand the importance of social skills and develop self-awareness.
Topics Covered:
What are social skills?
The role of body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions.
Self-awareness: Understanding emotions and how they affect interactions.
Activities:
"Emotion Charades": Acting out emotions using only facial expressions and body language.
Group discussion on situations where emotions affected interactions.

Lesson 2:
Week 2: Communication Skills
 Objective: Improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills .
Topics Covered:
The difference between verbal and non-verbal communication.
How to start, maintain, and end conversations politely.
Active listening and asking questions.
Activities:
"Conversation Circles": Practicing conversations with a partner.
"Listening Pairs": One child speaks while the other practices active listening and responding.

Lesson 3:
Week 3: Empathy & Understanding Others
 Objective: Develop the ability to understand and empathize with others' feelings.
Topics Covered:
What is empathy, and why is it important?
Recognizing others' emotions and responding appropriately.
Practicing kindness and consideration.
Activities:
"Walk in Someone Else's Shoes": Role-playing different scenarios to understand different perspectives.
Group discussion on times when they felt empathy or were shown empathy.

Lesson 4:
Week 4: Conflict Resolution & Problem-Solving
 Objective: Learn strategies for resolving conflicts and solving problems peacefully.
Topics Covered:
Identifying conflicts and understanding their causes.
Techniques for staying calm during disagreements.
Steps to resolving conflicts (e.g., talking it out, finding a compromise).
Activities:
"Role-Playing Conflicts": Practice resolving common conflicts through guided role-play.
Group brainstorming session on effective problem-solving strategies.
