Who loves color, sweet smells, and science? If that's you, then this unit all about flowers is perfect for you!
We’ll dive into the world of COLOR while also learning about one of the most important processes in nature…pollination.
Class experience
🎨 One whole month of art--done for you!
This course is ideal for 3rd-7th graders.
🌺 We'll dive deep into the traditional element of color, and then mix it with parts of a flower...and pollination!
🌻 In this Mini FLEX course, your learner will learn all about plants through art. Using easy-to-access materials, learners create drawings and projects that reflect the plant-topic of the week.

Week 1: Two videos/projects teaching your child about the element of color, how to...This class is taught in English.
My goals for learners are... 1. to learn about plants from a kinesthetic, right-brained perspective. 2. to grow confidence in sketching through learning elements of art. 3. to have fun!

Homework Offered
All of this is homework! :) Learners complete projects independently or with adult/older sibling supervision.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Even though this class is pre-recorded, I will be giving constant feedback! Every drawing/project should have a picture of it uploaded into the Outschool group. I will be commenting on every single one.Grades Offered
I chose products that would be easy to access and are affordable. Please let me know if you can't access a product and I will help you adjust the project. 1. Pencil and eraser 2. Crayons 3. Markers 4. Worksheets (printed) 5. Either a glue stick, sticky tack, OR tape 6. Items from nature (will be explained in a video) 7. 3-ring binder (optional)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
