In this one time class learners will take a Virtual tour of Hang Nga the “Crazy House” in Vietnam. Described as a “fairy tale house”, the building's overall design resembles a giant tree, but also imitates shapes/images from nature such as animals, mushrooms, spider webs and caves. We will use this tour as inspiration to write a fictional story about a family that lives there. Learners will practice using descriptive language as they paint a picture for the reader using the 'show don't tell' technique.
