Class Experience

In this fun and engaging Minecraft class, your learner will embark on a reading adventure while completing and designing incredible builds and projects inside their own Minecraft game. They'll learn to identify vowels and consonants, form CVC words, and even create word families. Through interactive building challenges, word games, and creative projects, your child will develop essential reading skills while having a blast!

My classes feature a supportive and exciting learning environment where your child can feel confident to explore the world of reading and Minecraft.

Learning Needs

This game based interactive class is intentionally designed for students with unique learning needs. As a neurodivergent educator, I offer multi sensory activities to support different learning styles (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and more!)

Parental Guidance

Learners will need access to any version of the Minecraft game to participate in this class. I will use Minecraft Bedrock edition on an iPad to demonstrate the builds, but learners are welcome to use Minecraft Education Edition or Java as well. Each learner will work individually on their own device. Students will not play in the same server or realm with teacher or other learners. No need to share gamertags. Minecraft players comfortable placing blocks and moving in the world will have the skills needed to complete the projects. Note: This class is not an official Minecraft product and I am not affiliated or associated with Mojang. The class image is from my own Minecraft game.

Pre-Requisites

Students should be familiar with the alphabet and be comfortable placing blocks and moving around inside Minecraft.

Supply List

Any version (Bedrock, Java, Education Edition) of Minecraft on any device (iPad, Nintendo Switch, Computer, Tablet, Playstation, Xbox, etc)
