Class Experience

Few creatures capture a child's imagination like dinosaurs. Many are gigantic, some are a little scary, but all of them spark a child's curiosity about what the world was like long ago. This one-time live online class is designed for the preschooler who is just beginning to discover the world of dinosaurs, and does not yet know very much about them. Through pictures, maps, and videos, we will answer the following questions:

* How does the world change over long periods of time?
* When did dinosaurs live?
* How do we know about dinosaurs?
* What other animals and plants lived with dinosaurs?

We'll even get an up-close look of some actual fossils!

This class derives from my successful Dinosaur Times classes on Outschool. I've created this class to help young learners step up into the Dinosaur Times classes. I also used to work on the floor of a science museum where I taught many young visitors about fossils and prehistoric life.
