The Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Big Hill, Whoa! is one of a series of original stories written and told by the author, Eddie Rivera, in the ongoing series of classes called My Favorite Story. The Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Big Hill is the captivating story of a summer afternoon adventure of a young boy, his bike, and a big hill. The class also features Phillip, the cat puppet, who will help tell the story, comment and help interact with the learners. The story is followed by a brief discussion session, and of course, a fun song.
Learning Goals
Students will practice their listening and communication skills as well as social and interactive skills, as they react and discuss the story, and join in the song at the end of the class session.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
The class is friendly and comfortable. I make it a point to interact personally at least once or twice with each student during the class. Participation is encouraged but not mandated. Learners are able to contribute as much or as little as they would like. I find that with most classes, by the end of the story, all of the students are engaged and happily singing along.
