In this 6-week class, students will learn musical theatre techniques in singing, dancing and acting.
Class experience
Does your child love to sing, act and dance? Then Musical Theatre is for them! Each day students will learn singing, acting and dancing techniques and put them to a song they can perform for friends and family. We will focus on movement/dance to warm up their bodies, singing techniques and warm up exercises for their voice, and acting techniques. Class Flow --------------- 1. Ms. Kayla has been dancing since she was 4 and through college. She has taken her love for dance and has been teaching dance for over 12 years.
Recommended Attire: socks (with grips) or running shoes (or other foot wear that is suitable for your flooring), something comfortable that is easy to move in. Please have a water bottle near by for any water breaks.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There is a risk of injury in any physical activity. By registering for this class you are assuming all risks. Please supervise your children during the class. Ensure they have a space that is comfortable to move in. We recommend about 5x5 feet of unobstructed space. Please remind students to stay off the furniture and dance on the floor.
