1 hour per week. There will be a few worksheets assigned as take-home work. Each worksheet should take about 15-20 minutes and may need to be completed with the help of an adult.Class Experience
Over the course of five days we will learn about music including, but not limited to, music theory and how to identify notes in both the Treble Clef and Bass Clef, time signatures, reading sheet music, rhythmic notation, and introduction to instrument families. We will practice everything we learn for understanding and reinforcement. This class is great for students who have limited experience with music theory, those who have completed "The ABCs of Music: Intro to Music Theory," and for those who have studied music in school or privately with their music teacher! I am a patient and energetic teacher that teaches this course in a fun and engaging manner. Students are sure to learn a lot about music during this week and realize just how much fun learning about music is! I have over 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I am passionate about teaching music and I can't wait to meet your learner!
