What's included
1 live meeting
45 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
This is a discussion-based class that helps students build speaking and listening skills, test and improve memory, as well as teach critical and creative thinking. Students will compare and contrast bands and singers, analyze statistics, and discuss the current goings on in the music scene. Students will build communication skills while having fun and making friends! Here are some examples of discussion topics: Who is the best band/singer/musician today? Is the music scene good or bad for today's musicians? What are the best bands/musicians from each decade? Who are best up and coming bands/singers? Is rap still legit, or has it been commercialized? Would you rather listen to music in a large concert venue or with just a few friends? Students will have plenty of opportunities to share their input and listen to others. PLUS we will answer voluntary TRIVIA questions about music, both past and present. This class is fun for everyone! All you need is an interest in any popular music.
