In this 10 lesson course, students will learn the basics of an Introduction to Music Theory for singers. The ability to read sheet music helps students identify notes, chords, and rhythms with greater ease. As they continue to familiarize themselves with reading music, they are developing the ability to sight-read and sing more complex pieces of music. Frequency: includedDetails: Assessments are optional. All students wishing to take this opportunity are able to take part, but not mandatory. We will have performance assessments at the mid point and at the end of our course. Students may upload a solo of their choice to the classroom. Assessments from Miss Lenora will be provided privately 1) great job 2) good job 3) needs work - along with a confidence building comment which includes areas for improvement. In addition, at the end of course, there is a two-page review for students to complete and upload to classroom for assessment.Certificate of Completion
Frequency: 1 after class completionDetails: Students will receive a personalized certificate of achievement at the end of the course providing they submit the performance assessment videos as required.
