We begin with echo singing, keeping the beat, moving to the music, and learning about famous composers through their music. This will be hands-on, vocal, and fun! Students will learn to explore sound and music while they gain musical skills appropriate for their ages and stages of life. We will read musical stories together and create our own soundtracks while we engage in fun learning.
Hello! Welcome to my classroom. I have been playing the violin for almost 40 years! That makes me really old, but I'm still a kid at heart! I'm a professional music teacher and violinist. My expertise is early childhood music and string education. I have played the violin in many places, including a symphony orchestra, rock band, church, country fiddling, and folk rock band. Most recently, I am an orchestra teacher in Minot, ND, where I live with my family, my dog, and three cats.
I am always willing to adapt to any learning style.
