Class 1 -I will be introducing the students to the musical staff. We will discuss the history behind the staff. Student's will become familiar with the concept of lines and spaces. -Student's will learn about Middle C. Where it is on the piano and where it is on the staff. They will be introduced to the Treble and Bass Clef symbols while also learning that there are other clefs like the tenor and alto clef. Class 2 -This class will be focused on the Treble Clef. I will teach the students...
The main goal for this class is for the students to easily read music notation. This will greatly enhance the student's ability to sight read and learn harder songs faster. Student's can use the information learned in this class for every instrument they want to play, not just the piano.
