This is a boot-camp style class that will review many of the more complex phonics skills that students need for higher level reading.

US Grade 1 - 3
In this class, I will focus on all of the foundational skills of reading. This will include lots of repetition and multisensory learning. In each class, I will incorporate phonological awareness practice, review the sounds that we know, high frequency words, letter formation, spelling and reading words. The goal of this course is for students to be exposed to many different phonics skills in order to increase their familiarity with these patterns. This introduction will allow them to be more accurate and fluent in reading or spelling words that follow these patterns.
I have a masters degree in language and literacy, and I am dyslexia certified.

This class is specifically designed for students with dyslexia and dysgraphia. Students with ADHD will benefit from the multisensory teaching approach.
Students may have taken my course called Multisensory Learning for Students With Dyslexia or Dysgraphia. Students should be familiar with most lower-level phonics skill such as short vowels and digraphs.
