It's a boring Friday afternoon, and you've decided to just hang out and play video games at home. You sit down on your couch, plug in your newest game, and ZAP! The next thing you know you are inside of your television in the video game. You must complete 7 levels to beat the game and return home. In this digital escape room, learners will practice multiplying and dividing fractions to solve seven puzzles to escape the video game. At the beginning of class, we will briefly review these skills. This class uses foundational fraction skills appropriate for a 4th-5th grade student. This class is best suited for learners who have learned how to multiply, divide, and reduce fractions, but I will be assisting students if they need help. This class will be most fun with at least two learners. If there is only one student enrolled, parents may be asked to choose one of the following options: 1). if their learner would prefer being alone or with other students 2). if they would like to be transferred to a section with more students, or 3). withdraw/be refunded and enroll next time a section is offered.

I'm also passionate about culture and language and have formally studied nine languages, including studying abroad. I want to share the world with students through language and exploration.
