Multiply Fractions
In this 30 minute class, students will learn how to multiply fractions with drawings and equations.

I will teach how to multiply fractions with unlike denominators using pictures and numbers. I will be teaching it by drawing out the fractions using different colored markers to help simplify the process for students. As I explain with pictures, I will also show how to do it with the equation on the side. After I have explained the process, the students will then have a chance to try to solve problems on their own. I will then go over the answer with them. A basic understanding of how to multiply will help students to understand how to multiply with fractions.
