Description

Class Experience

This class focuses on learning or reviewing multiplication facts.  As a class, we will go over the basics of multiplication and talk about the patterns you can find in these math problems. We will then play Jeopardy, a game that involves multiplication. The goal of this class is to help students build confidence in their ability to recite their multiplication facts.

Students will improve their understanding of multiplication facts and be able to state the correct answer.

I am a certified special education/elementary teacher with over 6 years of experience. My goal as a teacher is to help children retain and make positive strides in their educational skills. The skills that children develop at a young age will help build them for success when they are older. Those same skills will be what they use in their every day life as an adult. I am committed to help your child be confident in their skills and create a positive learning environment for them to have success.

There is no homework for this class.

The learner will need something they can write with and write on such as paper/pencil or whiteboard/marker.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Learner progress is assessed at the end of class with the questions completed individually by each student. The student will then hold their answer up on either their whiteboard or piece of paper for the teach to check for correctness.

55 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

There is no need for parental guidance. Parents can choose to watch or help their child.

We will not use any sources such as books or websites. We will only be using a PowerPoint used and controlled by Teacher Tommy.
