This math class balances concept and memorization of mulplication facts. Students will be able to understand what multiplication really means, as well as master the times tables, and they will have fun doing it! The teacher will explain the underlying concept of multiplication using fun visual representations to help anchor the concept. Each math lesson will be presented with fun and engaging pictures and stories. Students will be provided with fun games, activities, techniques, and printable resources to further anchor each multiplication fact as they practice at home. Math assessments can be provided to monitor learning of the multiplication facts. **Weekly Schedule** Week 1.1 - Repeated Addition & the Commutative Property Week 1.2 - Multiplication Facts: Zeros, Ones, & Twos Week 2.1 - Multiplication Facts: Fives & Nines Week 2.2 - Remembering With Pictures: Numbers 3, 4, 6, 7, 8; Introduce Multiplication Fact 3x3 Week 3.1 - Multiplication Facts: 3x4, 3x6, 3x7 Week 3.2 - Multiplication Facts: 3x8, 4x4 Week 4.1 - Multiplication Facts: 4x6, 4x7, 4x8 Week 4.2 - Multiplication Facts 6x6, 6x7, 6x8 Week 5.1 - Multiplication Facts 7x7, 7x8, 8x8 Week 5.2 - Review Game All printable resources will be provided by the teacher, and a weekly outline of assignments and activities will be provided on Monday of each week.

Students will demonstrate an understanding of the concept of multiplication and master multiplication times tables for numbers 0-10.

A PDF will be provided by the teacher with a variety of activities and practice pages for students to complete each week. Students will need a pencil and coloring supplies (crayons, colored pencils, or markers).

Hello! I am an experienced teacher with degrees in Early Childhood and Special Education. I have experience with teaching children from ages birth to 14 years, both in the traditional classroom and online. I believe learning should be fun! I am very passionate about teaching in a way that is inviting, engaging, and encouraging for students. Using books and music is a great way to teach a wide range of subjects, so I incorporate these into most of my lessons. I love spending time with my husband and two children, and we enjoy playing games at home or camping outside together. I am a big fan of all things coffee, and I believe there is always a reason to have hope and choose joy!
