*Please note this class is for increasing speed, so multiplication strategies will not be taught. Students will play two games of Treasure Trove.
For students needing a hint or two, a multiplication chart has been provided for downloading, and a skip counting chart for students to fill in before or after the class. These are optional.

In this ongoing class, students familiar with multiplication and will practice developing quick recall and automaticity of multiplication facts. Students who develop a strong foundation of basic math facts will have an easier time tackling more advanced math.

***Students unfamiliar with navigating between two windows will need support from a parent.***

- I will admit each student one by one. Students will check in by having their cameras on.
- I will drop the game link into the chat box.
-Join the game. You’ll automatically be assigned to a team; it cannot be changed.
-After you start the gameplay, the host’s screen will display each player’s progress in a form of a growing treasure chest and the time limit.
-Players need to answer the required number of questions correctly to collect treasure for their troves. Once they do that, a screen will be displayed where they need to quickly tap the treasure as it flies by in order to collect it.
-Players need to make sure to only collect the jewels and not the worthless items. There are special, rare items that can boost a player’s score. Every kind of jewel and item affects the player’s score differently.
