Beginner - Advanced Level
In this class, we'll focus intensely on practicing multiplication facts through a variety of engaging and interactive methods. We’ll use different games and techniques to make the learning process as fun and dynamic as possible. I’ll also introduce helpful tricks to make those tricky facts easier to remember. Students will be encouraged to support each other, creating a safe and positive environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. Mastery of multiplication facts is essential for a solid math foundation, so it’s important to tackle this skill effectively and enjoyably. Although this class is listed on Outschool as a "One-Time Class," you’re welcome to enroll multiple times based on your learner’s progress and retention. More practice leads to better proficiency. Students should know how to add and subtract well prior to taking any multiplication class. However, I don’t discourage young learners from jumping in and testing the class as they always get something out of the class and could set them up for success in the near future. Many young learners have surprised me. Classes are kept small which allows me to personalize it to each student and helps me address each individual struggle. Learning Goals
Students will master their multiplication tables in a fun and playful way. We will be using flashcards, and lots of tricks in order to help retain the information and improve those math skills forever!

Student must be proficient in addition and subtraction. They should be able to do two digit addition and subtraction in their head.

Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, I’ve developed a deep passion for studying and teaching languages over the years. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida and bring over 12 years of experience in the dental field.
After my first daughter was born, I felt a strong calling to homeschooling, and it’s been a rewarding journey ever since. With 7 years of experience as a homeschool mom and teacher within our community, I’ve discovered a profound love for teaching that I never anticipated. I’ve had the joy of teaching a wide array of subjects, including History, Science, Language Arts, Math, Latin, Geography, Spanish, Art, and Music Appreciation. The more I explore these subjects with my children, the more eager I am to learn and share knowledge with young learners.
In my classroom, safety is my top priority. You might wonder, “Safety?” Yes, indeed! I aim to create an environment where students feel secure, allowing them to be themselves without fear of judgment or criticism when facing challenges. Building self-esteem is crucial to the learning process, and I believe fostering a student’s confidence is essential for their success. That’s why I keep my classes small—to be attentive to each student and connect the material with positive experiences, making learning enjoyable.
I particularly enjoy teaching subjects like Math, especially multiplication. There’s something incredibly satisfying about helping students uncover the patterns and possibilities within numbers. Seeing their excitement grow as they master multiplication and realize its power is truly rewarding.
