This class is based on the scientific approach to reading. Students will learn spelling patterns and rules in this incredibly engaging ongoing class. This class was designed for students with dyslexia, but will help all students improve.

Class experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
  • In English we have 26 letters to represent the 44 different sounds in our language. This class will cover a different rule in each class, along with Kilpatrick's Phonemic Awareness drills that will help a child to increase their speed of word recognition.
I am a Reading specialist at a high need title 1 school. I also have a private practice where I provide intervention to students who have dyslexia. Teaching reading is my favorite thing in the world. If you are struggling or just need support I would love to be a resource to any family working to improve their child’s reading fluency/comprehension.
