In this 12 week program students will take lessons from a Native Canadian speaker to learn vocabulary, sentence patterns and grammar.
Class experience
This class will include interactive slides and fun videos to introduce the many topics. This lesson can altered to fit the needs of your child. This class will be fun and engaging. The lessons will include individual lessons on color, alphabet, phonics, simple sentence patterns, sight words, math and early counting concepts. Each lesson will begin with a "Hello" and "How are you?" Learners will be given lots of opportunity to talk freely, answer simple questions with modelled responses...

The goal is at the end of the twelve weeks learners new to English will be familiar with the numbers from 1-10. Learners will be able to identify the numbers, rote count as well as match objects to numbers. Learners will have an understanding of the alphabet A-Z. Learners will be able to identify each letter, recognize some of the sounds each letter makes and blend a couple letters to identify words. Learners will also be familiar with farm animal and toy vocabulary.
Homework Offered
Each week learners will be given worksheets related to the material learned that week. Learners are welcome to complete and share in class the following week or submit through the classroom. Homework is optional.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
