In this 1 time class, students will listen while I read aloud The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. I will stop periodically to ask reading comprehension questions; however, this class is meant to be a story time and creative time and will be very laid back. After the story is finished, students will create their own fish themed masterpieces! I am so incredibly passionate about students being read aloud to; studies prove that reading aloud is one of the best things adults can do to promote lifelong readers.
