Each week, we'll dive into a different story featuring colorful characters like Mr. Happy, Little Miss Sunshine, Mr. Tickle, and more. Through lively readings and engaging discussions, children will explore themes of friendship, kindness, problem-solving, and diversity found in these beloved tales. Non-US Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
I have been teaching for more than 25 years with the Toronto District School Board. My Ontario College of Teachers Certificate number is #286618. I attended Dalhousie University for my Bachelor of Music in Performance. I also have a Bachelor of Education from Brock University. I studied classical piano from the age of 5 with the Royal Conservatory of Music. While in University, I performed as a Mezzo-Soprano in the Dalhousie Chorale.
Throughout my teaching career, I have taught K-12 Music, Kindergarten, Grade 1 and 2, Health and Physical Education. I have conducted choirs and musical ensembles for seasonal public performances throughout all of these years of teaching. I have always continued to advance my skills by taking additional qualifications courses and am very proud to be a Reading Specialist.
It is my passion and joy to make learning fun and engaging for all of my students!
