My name is Carlos Acosta, and I am a certified teacher with credentials in Elementary EC-6 , Core Content areas EC-8, Social Studies 8-12, and Spanish K-12. I have been teaching ELA for the past 12 years, with the last four years being fully online. I believe that all students can learn through effectively structured lessons that not only practice higher-order thinking skills but also prepare them to become lifelong learners.

I utilize technological applications that enable students to learn the content while also seeing their progress and having fun. I use platforms like Nearpod, Kahoot, and Wordwall, among others, to engage students and assess their mastery.
