Education * Masters Degree in Teaching from Saginaw Valley State University * Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University * Certified to teach grades K-12 in Art, K-6 all subjects, 6-8 math/language arts * 30 Additional college credits past my masters degree with a focus on helping students succeed. * Numerous classes in my undergrad, grad and post grad that focused on psychology, child psychology, adolescent psychology, sociology, cognitive learning, organizational behaviors and overall wellness of the mind. * Yoga Instructor, Meditation Instructor and Therapeutic Art Life Coach- 200 Yoga teacher training hours certification (Bodsphere), Place of Bliss Academy, Primo Learn, and Transformation Academy. Experience * Taught in the regular classroom and art room for 25 years in a public school. * Continue to take classes looking for ideas that benefit my students artistically and socially. * Extensive experience teaching students that struggle with anxiety, ADHD, Autism and ODD. * 150 observational hours in the Elementary, Middle School and High School for Art.
