I’m a veteran educator (20 years) and certified Microsoft trainer and as such have worked with many students, teachers and schools in implementing technology into the classroom learning. Most institutions fail to provide training to the students who need tech literacy skills to be successful in future work. This session prepares students to create professional presentations and practicing communication/presentation skills.
Students should have access to Sway, a free online tool. Parents will need to sign up for a free Microsoft account (hotmail, outlook, msn, live) and access Sway at www.sway.com before class. They will also need index cards and a pencil.
In this class, we will be using a third-party tool (Microsoft Sway). It is an online tool that requires a free Microsoft account. You will need to create an email account or log into your Microsoft account online and I will walk them through how to access Sway. Through Sway they will have access to YouTube (no account required), Flickr, Pickit, and Bing images.
